Features
Clipboard history for images and colour codes
Copied images
Copy an image or take a screenshot to the clipboard and it appears in Pastily as a card with a preview. Filter to the Images Space to see only pictures.
Save a copied image as a file
- Open Pastily and find the image.
- Click Download on its card.
- The image is saved to your Downloads folder.
This is handy for screenshots you copied but never saved, or an image you copied from a chat or web page.
Reuse a copied image
Select the image in Pastily and press Enter to put it back on your clipboard, then paste it into any app.
Colour codes
When you copy a colour value such as #5F8A4E, Pastily recognises it and files it under the Colors Space with a swatch of the colour, so you can pick the right one at a glance.
- Click the swatch or Copy HEX to copy the colour as a HEX code.
- Click Copy RGB to copy the same colour as an RGB value.
The dashboard also shows the colour in HSL. Designers and front-end developers can pin brand colours so they stay at the top; see Spaces and pinned clips.
Other content types
Pastily also recognises plain text, code, links, email addresses and numbers, and keeps each in its own Space with its original formatting.

Organise clipboard history with Spaces, pins and saved clips
Pastily sorts everything you copy into Spaces such as Text, Links, Code, Images and Colors automatically. Pin a clip to keep it at the top of your history, save it to find it under Saved, and create your own Spaces for things like code templates or support replies.
Getting started with Pastily
Install Pastily, activate your licence key in Settings, then press Cmd+Shift+B on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows and Linux to open your clipboard history. Everything you copy from then on is saved on your own computer and can be searched and copied again.
Privacy, offline storage and auto-expiring clips
Pastily stores your clipboard history in a local database on your own computer. There is no account and no cloud sync, so your clips are never uploaded. For sensitive clips such as passwords, set an auto-expire timer of up to 24 hours and the clip deletes itself.
