What's new in Pastily
Every update, from the first release to what's shipping next. Your licence includes all of them.
Notch Island
Pastily moves into the MacBook notch: a preview of every copy, your paste queue, live timers, and your recent clips on hover. Plus a faster history when it holds images. This release is for Mac; Windows and Linux stay on 2.1.0.
Here is everything in this Mac update:
- Notch Island
A small panel joined to the MacBook notch shows a preview of each thing you copy — text, links, colours and images — then tucks itself away.
Macs with a notch - Recent Clips on Hover
Move the pointer to the notch to see your newest clips and your clip count. Click a clip to copy it again, or open Settings from there.
- Paste Queue in the Notch
With Universal Paste Queue on, each copied item joins the queue in the notch, and a counter beside the notch shows how many are waiting.
- Live Auto-Disappear Countdown
When a clip has a timer, the time left stays visible beside the notch and turns red for its last seconds.
- Turn It On or Off
A Notch Island switch in Settings and in the menu bar popover. Turning it off closes it at once.
- Faster History with Images
Opening and refreshing the history no longer loads full image data, so every window stays smooth even with many screenshots saved.
Smoother Pasting & Auto-Updates
A faster, more reliable Universal Paste Queue on Mac, a paste shortcut you can change, a new app icon, and automatic in-app updates.
Here is everything in this update:
- Reliable Paste Queue on Mac
Every press of the paste shortcut now pastes the next item, in order — even when you press it quickly — and re-copied text joins the queue again.
- Customizable Paste Queue Shortcut
Record your own Universal Paste Queue shortcut in Settings → Shortcuts, or reset it to the default.
Default ⌘⇧V / Ctrl+Shift+V - New App Icon
A refreshed icon that fits the macOS rounded-square style, with no white tile around it.
- Automatic In-App Updates
Pastily checks for new versions by itself. Choose "Update" from the menu bar and it installs and restarts — no more downloading from the website.
