Welcome to Pastily. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the Pastily website, desktop application, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website, purchasing a license, downloading, installing, or using Pastily, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

01/ License

Subject to your purchase of a valid license (where applicable), Pastily grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the desktop application in accordance with the license you purchased.

Each license may be activated on the number of devices included with your purchase. You may deactivate a device and activate another within your license limits.

You may not:

• Share, resell, or distribute your license key.
• Attempt to bypass or interfere with license validation.
• Modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the software except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
• Use Pastily in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

02/ Ownership & Intellectual Property

Pastily, including its software, source code, user interface, designs, graphics, logos, branding, documentation, and other related content, is owned by its developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a license to use the software—they do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.

03/ Privacy

Pastily is built with an offline-first architecture.

Clipboard history, settings, pinned items, collections, and other application data remain stored locally on your device. Pastily does not upload your clipboard contents or local database to our servers.

04/ Updates

We may periodically release updates, bug fixes, security improvements, performance enhancements, or new features.

Some updates may require an internet connection for download or license verification. Continued use of the software may require installing newer versions.

05/ Payments & Refunds

Payments for Pastily Pro are securely processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Pastily does not collect or store your complete payment information.

We want you to love using Pastily! We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date by contacting us at ashfaque@pastily.app.

After the 7-day period, or unless otherwise required by applicable law, purchases are generally considered final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents the software from functioning as intended, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. Refund requests outside the 7-day window may be approved on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Approved refunds will be processed through Polar using the original payment method.

We reserve the right to decline refund requests in cases including, but not limited to:

• Abuse of the refund policy.
• Fraudulent purchases or chargeback abuse.
• Violation of these Terms.
• Requests submitted after substantial use of the software where it has functioned as intended.

06/ Disclaimer

Pastily is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

While we strive to provide reliable software, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

07/ Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Pastily shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or business interruption arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Services.

Your use of Pastily is at your own risk.

08/ Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke a license if it is obtained fraudulently, shared in violation of these Terms, used to circumvent licensing restrictions, or otherwise misused.

Upon termination, your license to use Pastily immediately ends.

09/ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

10/ Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the software, legal requirements, or our business practices.

The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Pastily after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
